Our school mission statement is: Live in Faith. Love and Serve. Learn for Life. During Lent, we pay particularly close attention to the call to love and serve. Mrs. Sue Gardiner coordinated the collection of toiletries from the 7th and 8th grade classes for donation to Alvis, a nonprofit human services agency with nearly 50 years of experience providing highly effective reentry treatment programs for individuals who have spent time in the criminal justice system. Alvis also serves people with intellectual or developmental disabilities that face difficult challenges as they seek to live an independent life. This organization serves nearly 8,000 men, women, young adults and children in Ohio each year. Their programs indirectly impact tens of thousands more. Alvis works to keep families together and make communities safer.
